BSME from Iowa State University 1991, Trained in Pro/E January 1994, over 30,000 hours of Pro/Engineer experience. Co-founded Surfacing Solutions October 1998.

Owner/Manager/Designer, January 2000 to Present
Lead design firm preparing estimates, scheduling work, mentoring employees, making sales visits and creating Pro/E models for clients. Create working relations with eight different John Deere divisions, three Caterpillar divisions, Amana Refrigeration, Daisy Air Rifle, Waterloo Industries, and a multitude of small tooling manufacturers. Set and maintain the standard for quality of Surfacing Solutions, Inc. Emphasize modeling standards and design for manufacturing, ensuring every model or design by our company can go directly into tool design.

John Deere Waterloo Works, September 1997 to December 1999, Contract Pro/E designer.
Helped develop plastic components for two engine enclosures 8020 Series and 7020 Series early concepts, 9000T fuel tank, and other chassis components.

Case Corp, February 1996 to September 1997, Contract Pro/E designer.
Helped develop cab interior trim components, post covers, fender trim and window glass. Also assisted with hydraulic routing, engine auxiliaries, and engine enclosure modifications to the CX series tractors.

John Deere Ottumwa Works, January 1994 to February 1996, Product development.
Helped develop bale ejectors, small rectangular baler and large rectangular baler. Responsible for tying systems, hydraulic systems, and electric systems on the large rectangular balers. Trained in Pro/E January 1994.

John Deere Ottumwa Works, December 1991 to January 1994, worked as an assembly methods engineer. Set up the 3365 trim triplex assembly lines in Ottumwa. Helped implement the first two assembly groups into gain sharing (CIPP).
