Surface Evaluation
Creating quality surfaces requires the ability to evaluate the surfaces. Highlight plots and curvature plots are the two main methods we use for evaluating the surface quality. We ensure the highlights follow a path as outlined by the industrial designer and adjust surfaces to match their input as closely as possible. When creating an “A” surface, our modelers build corner radii using boundary curves with C2 continuity. Our experts also evaluate the curvature of each surface to ensure a smooth plot.
