Cost Estimates & Schedule
Surfacing Solutions will estimate every project, regardless of size. We prepare quotes very quickly and accurately. At that time, we also create a duration schedule for each project.
Concept Models
To help relay ideas to the supporters of your design, we create quick concept models. Early models do not need to outline every detail, but they should build a solid base to continue the design process. We set up the Pro/E models and assemblies with the intention that they will continue to take shape as the design process proceeds.
Modeling Reality
Three-dimensional designs need to include everything: draft and radii must be in place, easy-to-use skeletons should be created to review assembly motion, and hardware, clamps, and miscellaneous components should be assembled. Time and money are saved if your 3-D design is 100 percent complete. In addition to completing the design, we ensure that it has been organized in a manner that assists future designs.
Design Reviews
Reviews are prepared throughout the process – design, styling, and tooling – to guarantee the design is fully approved. Meetings can be help at the offices of Surfacing Solutions, or at a location of the client’s selection. The design will be presented in an easy-to-follow format that will cover all aspects of the design.
Reality
We work with excellent rapid prototyping and production suppliers. We can collect quotes, review prints, and order prototypes to facilitate the process.
